Description
Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. You are looking at a 1960's era microphone cable with a female Amphenol 5/8 X 27 connector to male 1/4 inch end connector. This cable was commonl y used on a whole slew of vintage American microphones and mic cables during the 1930's to the 1970's. This is actually a Japanese brand cable as many of their mics used the same connection as the American mics. The actual connector that attaches to the microphone is called an 75-MC1F-385 and can be seen in pic # 2. The cable itself is still soft and pliable with zero cracks or damage but there is a small crack on the plastic 1/4 inch connector cover that does not affect the working order of this mic. Purely cosmetic. It's a Amphenol 21-1991 model. No exterior stains on the cable. Very good looking condition overall and works perfectly. The cable with connectors is appx 3 feet in length. Great for situations where your mic is very close to your audio equipment. You can use this cable with several makes and models. Hundreds of different models really. You'll see how this style of cable connects to the older type microphones in pic # 5. MICROPHONE SHOWN IS NOT PART OF THIS SALE...USED FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY. Priced to sell and as always...
